The Department of City Treasurer is responsible for the City's budget, financial reporting, investments, purchasing and accounting functions of the City of Cheyenne.

There are two divisions under this department:

CITY TREASURER'S OFFICE

The City Treasurer's Office is responsible for preparation and control of the City's budget, investments, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and all other financial reporting.

PURCHASING DIVISION

The Purchasing Division is responsible for the acquisition of various goods and services for the City, and administers the disposal of surplus property.
