SURVEY'S MAILED OUT REGARDING PILOT PROGRAM
FOR CURBSIDE RECYCLING
 

A pilot program for curbside recycling began the beginning of January 2008.  It was a 90 day pilot program that began with service to 1500 houses in the Sun Valley area.  A survey was mailed out on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, to those residents in the Sun valley area that participated in this program.  The Sanitation Department expects the survey results to take 45 days to be collected and tallied.  Curbside recycling service will continue during this 45 day period to the residents in the pilot program. The public's input is crucial to the success of implementing a curbside recycling program, so each resident who participated in the pilot program is encouraged to fill out the survey and respond regarding the program.
