Mission Statement:

Provide City residents and other City departments with the best possible public works services and support.

Tasks:

Provide supervision and oversight for Street and Alley, Solid Waste, Traffic, Facilities Maintenance, Fleet Maintenance, Transit, Storm Water Concrete Maintenance and Belvoir Ranch.  Monitor and manage expenditures of 1% Sales Tax funding. Provide administrative support for Public Works,  Construction, Storm Water Concrete Maintenance, Street and Alley, and Traffic Divisions. Serve as the call center for all public works inquiries and complaints. Investigate customer complaints and direct appropriate response. Provide reports to the governing body on funding and construction projects. Manage and maintain work order information. Draft legislation on public works matters for governing body approval.
