Where can I pay my parking ticket?
The Parking Division is located at 2101 O’Neil Avenue in the Municipal Building in the lobby. Or you can drop off your payment in our yellow drop boxes located around downtown.

Where are parking ticket drop boxes located?
Payments may be dropped off at the City Hall at 2101 O’Neil Avenue in the lobby or in any of our yellow fine boxes located in front of the City Hall, on Carey between 18th & 19th, on Carey between 21st & 22nd, on 18th Street by Cheyenne Light Fuel & Power, on 18th Street and Capitol Avenue, in front of the Cheyenne Regional Medical Hospital and in front of the Police Department at 21st and Capitol Avenue.

How long do I have to pay a parking ticket?
A parking ticket is due within 5 working days from the date that you receive the ticket in order to avoid a late fee.

How can I pay my parking ticket?
Parking ticket payments can be mailed using the yellow envelopes provided with the ticket, dropped off in any of our yellow drop boxes located around downtown or by phone using a credit card by calling our office at (307) 637-6331, 8:00am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

What form of payment can I use to pay my parking ticket?
We accept cash, check or money order (made payable to City Treasurer) or credit card.

How can I contest a parking ticket?
There is a court date provided on your parking ticket. You must appear in Municipal Court at 309 W. 20th Street, Room 2101 on the date provided on your ticket at 1:30 pm.

Can I pay my parking ticket by phone?
To make a payment for a parking ticket using a credit card, contact our business office at (307) 637-6331, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.

Do parking tickets go on my driving record?
No.

How do I avoid a parking ticket in the time limited areas?
The vehicle must be moved before the signed time. The definition of “moved”: vehicle must leave the area of the immediate block.

What is a critical parking permit and how do I get one?
A critical parking permit is a request for issuance or renewal of a permit allowing for residential parking within a designated Critical Traffic and Parking area as approved by the Governing Body of the City of Cheyenne (See link to City Code 10.68).

How do I get a handicap logo for my vehicle?
Handicap logos are given by the Wyoming State Transportation office located at 5300 Bishop Blvd. If you have any questions you can call them at (307) 777-4800.
