The City of Cheyenne-Kiwanis Community
House has been available for rentals since 2003 when it was built
The
City of Cheyenne- Kiwanis Community House features a large multipurpose
space that may be divided into 2 rooms (1900 square feet each) or left as
one large (3800 square foot) room. Rentals are available to include a
single room or the entire space.
The City of Cheyenne-Kiwanis Community House
has hosted numerous wedding
receptions, meetings, graduation and birthday parties. We have also hosted
various church functions, school functions, seminars, training classes,
family reunions, and baby showers, etc.
Amenities available with a one room rental will include
a hard wood, maple floor, a large western st
yle
chandelier, high vaulted ceiling, 1 kitchen with 2 warming ovens, 2
microwaves, 1 refrigerator, and 1 steam table, 20 tables, chairs, lakeside
patio. The grand piano, microphone, PA system is on a first come first serve
basis.
Fees and
User Categories
There are three categories of users defined, to include
Non-Profit, Private and Commercial.
Non Profit- Must possess a non profit ID
number to qualify.
Private- Not qualifying as a non
profit organization are private users.
Commercial- Any renter that is selling or offering to sell
merchandise, food or renter providing an activity open to the public and
charging an admission fee.
* Renters shall place a refundable damage deposit
with the Parks office in the amount of $200.00 not to exceed the rental fee.
The damage deposit does not represent a limitation for damage caused by
users.

We reserve the City of Cheyenne-Kiwanis Community House
12 to 13 months in advance. For example if you would like to book an event
for July 5, 2008 we will start taking reservations for the entire month of
July 2008 the first working day of July 2007.
The office opens at 6:30 a.m., we take
walk-ins before we take phone calls. There is normally a line for the busy
summer months, so we suggest getting in line early. Lions Park opens at 5:00
a.m. and closes at 12:00 a.m.
