Superday 2008

"A RECREATION CELEBRATION" the Frontier Refining Inc. Superday is an
annual celebration which serves to kick off July as National Parks &
Recreation Month. The Cheyenne Parks & Recreation Department hosts this
event in an effort to promote a greater awareness of the value and
availability of recreation and leisure activities, and to get people
involved in life.
The 26TH Annual Frontier Refining Inc. Superday event is
scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2008
from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. This is a day planned for children and adults
of all ages. It will be a day of family fun and will be held in Lions Park.
There will be rides, refreshments, live music, demonstrations, games,
contests, exhibits, a children’s carnival and an arts and crafts show. In
addition to these activities there will be several sporting events kicking
off at 6:00 a.m. or later including the 15TH
Annual Frontier Refining Inc. Tour de Prairie Cycling Event, the Ray’s
Superday 10K/5K Run/Walk, a Judo tournament and a Volleyball Tournament.
There will also be the Frontier Refining Inc. Superday Family Concert

15TH Annual Tour de Prairie
The
City of Cheyenne Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to present the 15TH
Annual Frontier Refining Inc. Tour de Prairie Cycling Event, in conjunction with Superday 2008
on June 28th. This cycling event is
designed for everyone from the casual to the experienced rider. The 15TH Annual Tour de Prairie will feature a
Century, Metric Century, 1/2 Century and 30 Mile Course on the scenic plains
of South Eastern Wyoming. There will also be a 10 Mile Cruiser Course,
geared for the family, which will ride on the Greater Cheyenne Greenway.

Frontier Refining Inc. Ray’s Superday 5K/10K Run/Walk
PRESENTED BY: Southern Wyoming Runners Association
Enjoy the annual 5K/10K Run/Walk on June 28, 2008 held in
memory of the late Dr. Ray Dixon. There will be awards for the top running
finishers and all runners/walkers will be eligible for fabulous door prizes.
You may pre-register at Foot of the Rockies, 1740 Dell Range Blvd., from
June 4-22 for $15. Late or day of registration fee is $20 and will be
accepted at the Old Community House in Lions Park.
Frontier Refining Inc. Car Show-N-Shine
Come out to Lions Park on June 28th for a
fun filled time at the 2nd Annual Frontier Refining, Inc.
Superday Car Show-N-Shine event. Great entertainment for the whole family.
Spectators can view lots of rods and customs, classics of the 50's, muscle
cars of the 70’s, cars dating back to the 1920’s and 4 wheel drive vehicles.
Show hours are 10:00 am – 3pm and admission is
Free.
Sponsor trophies and
People’s Choice trophy will be awarded. Local car clubs will be selling
raffle tickets for a peddle car and Cars quilt. A 50/50 raffle will also be
held and the money raised will be used to benefit future Frontier Refining,
Inc. Car Show-N-Shine events. For further

A martial arts
competition held during the Frontier Refining Inc. Superday event.
This is co-hosted by the Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department and Fred
LeMond. Registration takes place the day of the event. Please

Frontier Refining Inc. Old Chicago Shindig Grass
Volleyball Tournament
A volleyball
tournament will be held during the Frontier Refining Inc. Superday event on
June 28, 2008 beginning at 8:00 am.
This is co-hosted by the Cheyenne Parks and Recreation Department and Old
Chicago. Mail in registration must be received by June 8, 2008.
Anything received after that date up through the day of the event will be
assessed a $10 late fee charge. For further information you may
