1. Where do I get copies of City Council Minutes or Committee Minutes?

City Council Minutes are kept on file in the City Clerk’s Office located at 2101 O’Neil Ave., Rm. 101 (307-637-6329). The latest Minutes can be found online at City Council Minutes.

All Council Committee Minutes (Finance, Public Services and Committee of the Whole) are kept on file in the City Council Office located at 2101 O’Neil Ave., Rm. 115 (307-637-6357). The latest Committee Minutes can be found online at City Council Minutes.

2. Do I need a license to operate a business within city limits?

That depends on the type of business you are operating as every business is not licensed. To find out if you need a license you will need to contact the City Clerk’s Office at (307) 638-4301 or you may look at Business Licensing Page.

3. What are the qualifications for individuals interested in running for the elected offices of Mayor and City Council?

In order to run for an elected office either as Mayor or City Council, you must be a citizen of the United States, who is a bona fide resident of Wyoming; must be a registered and qualified elector and meet applicable requirements of Wyoming Statute, Title 22, Election Code; and must be at least 18 years of age. To run for City Council, in addition to the above qualifications, you must also reside within the respective Ward you are running for (I, II or III).
