Can I shoot off fireworks in the city limits?
Pursuant to City Code Chapter 8.20, it is unlawful for any person to possess, store, offer for sale, expose for sale, sell at retail, use, or explode any fireworks within the City limits. A license may be granted for supervised public displays of fireworks by fair associations, amusement parks and other organizations.

How much clearance must I have around a fire hydrant?
Minimum clearance is three (3) feet, as determined by the International Fire Code, 2003 edition, Section 508.5.5
