CHEYENNE – The 9th Annual Spring Into Green Run, Walk, & Roll is set for Saturday, June 9th at 8:00 a.m. Participants have the option of a 2K, 5K, and 10K course with a start/end location at the Saddle Ridge Park shelter (Foster Ave. & Hitching Post Lane). The race is sponsored by the Cheyenne Greenway Foundation.
The event also serves as an opportunity to check out the completed Saddle Ridge Greenway, with 1.1 miles of new trail from Saddle Ridge Elementary School to Whitney Road and parallel to U.S. Highway 30 connecting to the main Greenway trail system. The new addition brings Cheyenne’s total Greenway Path to over 40 miles.
Tech shirts will be awarded to the first 150 adult registrants with breakfast included for all at the end of the race. For more information, visit www.cheyennegreenwayfoundation.org
